Each day, EWI helps Members solve their most difficult resistance and solid-state welding challenges. Our engineers have conducted hundreds of research projects in several critical areas of resistance and solid state, and made significant contributions to the field. And our facility houses the most diverse forge welding laboratories in the U.S., and one of the largest in the world.

As an EWI Member, you can get help in variety of resistance welding areas including process development, application development, weld characteristics, training and troubleshooting. You have access to our engineers, labs, equipment and knowledge. We can even help you at your own site through the use of our portable instrumentation.
