EWI Members can engage us to perform a number of services on their behalf. Additionally, the suppliers of our EWI Members may also call upon us for several types of contract work.

Membership
The easiest way to benefit from all that EWI offers is through annual membership. EWI Members have direct access to our people, innovations, research results, labs and equipment.

Technical Inquiry Service
EWI Members have unlimited access to EWI’s staff for design reviews and technical inquiries via phone, fax, or email.
(up to 2 hours of EWI staff time per inquiry).

Contract Research
Projects sponsored by a single company with a predefined workscope and schedule.

Contract Consultancy
EWI staff consults on a current manufacturing problem or provides input in the design stage of a new product. Consultancy may include troubleshooting, field consulting, and problem solving.

Contract Engineering
Contracting EWI engineers to EWI Member Companies for short- or long-term assignments.

Joint Industry Program
Companies with a mutual materials joining interest can lower the cost and risk associated with R&D through a Joint Industry Program. Programs are open to EWI Members, and results remain confidential to the group of sponsors.

Offset Projects
EWI can help you fulfill your offset obligations through our international offset program. We offer engineering consulting, R&D, training and education, and assessments.
