Joint Industry programs

EWI has a tradition of conducting Joint Industry Programs (JIPs). These programs are focused on the welding and allied technologies for member companies. The programs have widely ranged from process development to material evaluation. JIPs range in size and scope from small focused efforts with as little as two sponsors to large overarching industry issue programs with dozens of sponsors. Additionally, EWI works with JIP sponsors and federal and state government agencies to find areas where public and private funds can be leveraged to produce broader (or more focused) programs. EWI structures JIPs such that if a company wishes to purchase the results of a closed program they may buy the results after the program is closed.

Below is a summary of current programs and programs being formed in the next six months. Current information may be obtained by contacting EWI at 614.688.5000. Detailed information on specific programs may be obtained by inquiry to the listed contact(s).
